Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd. (HACPL) proudly celebrated 30 Years of success and excellence in the Pakistani automotive industry. The event,
held at the HACPL plant in Lahore, Pakistan, on November 27, 2023, with around 1700 attendees, including Honda Dealerships, Corporates, Suppliers,
Vendors and Associates. The celebratory event was a momentous occasion marked by reflection on HACPL’s 30 Year of Excellence journey, recognition of
accomplishments, and anticipation of future endeavors of Honda in Pakistan.
The celebrations brought together the extended Honda family, including esteemed guests of honor from Honda Motors Co. Japan and Asian Honda Co. Thailand.,
with other executive members from the Atlas Group Pakistan. Distinguished guests witnessed a heartfelt commemoration of HACPL's legacy, innovation, and the
shared aspirations for the future of Honda in Pakistan.
The event commenced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Shinji Aoyama- Director, Executive Vice President & Representative Executive Officer and Mr. Aamir H.
Shirazi- Chairman Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd.
In his Welcome Address, Mr. Takafumi Koike, President & CEO HACPL, expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support of the Pakistani people that fueled
Honda's remarkable 30 Year journey. He affirmed the company's commitment to continued teamwork for a future filled unbeatable success.
Mr. Aamir H. Shirazi also shared insights dedicated to Honda's inception in Pakistan, providing a vivid recounting of the journey that brought Honda to not only
the road of Pakistan but hearts of Pakistanis.
Mr. Shinji Aoyama, who oversees Government and Industry relations provided a global perspective on Honda's vision, emphasizing the commitment to achieving zero
traffic collision fatalities and zero environmental impact, particularly through the advancement of Electric Vehicles. Moreover, he highlighted Honda's global
slogan, "The Power of Dreams; How we move you," and the vision of providing customers with their dream mobility.
Mr. Toshio Kuwahara, Vice President, Head of Regional Unit (Asia & Oceania), acknowledged and honored all business partners and associates for their resilience
during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic and tsunami. He encouraged everyone to be dream-driven, have a passionate approach to enhance Honda's brand
presence in Pakistan over the next decade.
An exchange of souvenirs took place, with the key element focusing on the national and traditional symbolism of both Pakistani and Japanese cultures. This was
followed by an award ceremony in which awards were presented to dealerships, vendors, suppliers, and corporates in recognition of their roles as partners.
Associates were also honored with long-service awards in recognition of their exceptional 30 years of service to the company.
The event showcased the collaboration between Honda Motor Japan and the Atlas Group through Japanese and Pakistan-themed aesthetics. It celebrated the three core
joys of HACPL’s ideology: The Joy of Buying, The Joy of Selling, and The Joy of Creating, providing an exciting experience for everyone involved in the process.
The celebration featured the display of Pakistan’s first manufactured Civic alongside the latest top-of-the-line Civic RS.
As the journey unfolds, the company remains steadfast in its mission to inspire joy and set new standards of excellence for the years to come.
